Jennifer recently left the sitcom Taraak Mehta after 15 years of playing a crucial role in it. The 44-year-old actress thinks she was harboring a lot of resentment toward specific TMKOC members because she was afraid of losing her job. However, Jennifer has now decided to speak out against the abuse she has endured over the past few years. She even made serious accusations against Asit Modi, the producer of Taarak Mehta.
Despite being a part of the program for almost 15 years, Jennifer Mistry Bansiwala disclosed in an interview with ETimes that she has departed Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. The actress learned a tragic truth about the people who produce television when she was pressed to explain the reasoning behind her significant choice. Jennifer said that Asit Kumarr Modi, the show’s producer, had harassed her sexually. The actress disclosed that she reported Asit to the police after he made sexual advances toward her. She uttered:
“I was asked to get off the sets four times by Sohail Ramani and Jatin Bajaj tried to stop my car by standing behind it and was not allowing me to leave the sets. I told them that I worked on the show for 15 years, and they couldn’t forcefully stop me. While I was leaving, Sohail threatened me. I have filed a case of sexual harassment against Asit Kumarr Modi, Sohail Ramani, and Jatin Bajaj.”

In addition to this, Jennifer Mistry Bansiwala identified two additional people in her police report. Sohail Ramani, the project manager for the show, is the first, while Jatin Bajaj, the executive producer, is the second. Jennifer further disclosed that she finished working on the Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah sets on March 6, 2023, and that she hasn’t returned to the locations since.
“When I replied, Sohail was unpleasant to me and nearly four times asked me to leave. Then the inventive Jatin attempted to stop my automobile. The CCTV footage has every detail captured.
Jennifer Mistry Bansiwala acknowledged in the same interview that Asit Kumarr Modi, the show’s producer, had harassed her sexually before. The actress admitted that it had occurred a few times in the past. However she chose to ignore each instance out of fear of losing her job. But Jennifer noted that things were out of order this time. All three of them attempted to close the door on her as she sought to leave the sets. As a result, the actress sent a registry to all of the government officials. She has taken harsh action against Asit Modi, Sohail Ramani, and Jatin Bajaj.
